The Peaceful Cabin — Lakefront Fire Pit & Dock

This is a nice looking post and we enjoyed our stay. I feel that the condition on the property is lacking and need many improvements. This condition does not warrant the rate and after staying at many vrbo’s this would be a 200 Night stay. The plank floor is coming up in bathroom and kitchen, Hot tub needed a clean before we used, gas grill is manual light(ignitor did not even have batteries) cleaned the paddle boat to find it did t work, dock has many loose boards, path to fire pit was rough, no step down to dock area, ceiling fan in big bedroom didn’t work right, huge spider nest in kayak, and the list goes on. Way over priced, but we still had a lot of fun

This property was very special with lake views and no light pollution the stars were amazing.We also enjoyed fishing off the pier and enjoying the hot tub .The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning was spot on .No hot night sleeps at this place unless you want it that way .Bring fire wood for the fire or there our several places you can purchase from in the area .We took our family dog who loved every minute of it and there was a cable out back for him to enjoy in nature with us.I would definitely go back with my family and would recommend to any one .5 stars from us!!!

The property was nice but the flooring was lifting in certain areas possibly due to the rain but I would definitely stay again

Aaron was an amazing host. Checking in with us a few times to make sure all was good. The cabin is at a beautiful and peaceful location on the lake. Great location. Not to far from Nashville, IN. Thank you, Aaron for being an amazing host!

Celebrated Evan’s 12th here and made the best memories Between kayaking, fishing, and soaking in the hot tub, and the views, this place was exactly what we needed as a family of 3.So grateful for the time together and for a great host!

The home was beautifully prepared and we loved every moment of our time that we spent marveling in the views from that fantastic hot tub. It gave us everything we needed and we're glad to have chosen such a great home away from home.

Clean, comfortable and the serene view is second to none. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back in warmer weather to canoe and stay again!

Yes and most of the … washer was down… was fix within the first three days

We wanted to stay somewhere where we could enjoy the beauty of the autumn leaves and this cabin fit the bill! We had the best view on the lake! (website photos don't do it justice!) The cabin is clean, well-equipped and cozy with a very comfortable king bed. Aaron, the Host, is friendly and quick to respond to questions. We hope to come back soon!

The check in process was incredibly easy. Kind enough to allow our dogs. It was clean and we slept like babies. It was so peaceful as we rented during the week. They do have other homes in the area that would make it ideal to book for family vacations. You could walk to each others cabins. Check them out at Nature Stay Getaways on Facebook or Website. We enjoyed our 2 night stay! Peaceful and relaxing!

We came looking for peace and quiet.... and that is exactly what we found! We loved fishing outside our back door and loved the hot tub for relaxing.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Charming, simple, quiet, and comfortable. The host was very accommodating and took care of my requests right away. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

A quick trip after a camping trip was canceled do to a truck mechanical issue. Found this gem on the lake and we able to have a nice relaxing time. Every thing we needed was there. Grilled, fished even caught at 16 inch bass. Shopped in Nashville and explored the area.

The view is amazing! We caught so many fish and enjoyed other wildlife that the area had to offer. I was especially impressed with the amenities! Extra towels, on site washer/dryer, fire pit, plenty of throw blankets and extra linen...we've stayed in places with far less that cost far more. The hot tub was an added bonus that we enjoyed each evening. Only issue was inability to always get wireless internet, which interfered with television access, but there was so much to see and do, it wasn't really an issue. We brought our pups, and they had a blast as well. Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage!

Nice get away, loved the lake and nature, the cabin was nice and cozy. The walk to the dock and dock could use a little TLC, but over all nice place to stay. Caught some small blue gills, striped base and bull head catfish.

Imagine looking out your living room window to see a private lake with fish breaching the water everywhere backset against a small mountain... Cozy little lakehouse that is clean, peaceful, and comfortable. Perfect retreat to getaway.

The property was perfect. The cabin is well taken care of, clean and cozy. The lake front view is great, nice fire pit, patio and jacuzzi. Nice place to get away, enjoy nature, relax.
